    Lisbon: quick answers

    Is Lisbon good for families?

As a base outside the old town, yes. The aquarium, zoo and science centre are all on the metro, the riverside in Parque das Nações is flat, and the Cascais beaches are a train ride away. The historic centre is steep and crowded, which matters with a stroller.

Which Lisbon neighbourhood is best for remote work?

Wherever your coworking is. Heden has spaces in Alvalade, Chiado, Trindade and Santa Apolónia; Second Home is in the Mercado da Ribeira at Cais do Sodré. Parque das Nações and Avenidas Novas are named for modern flats with reliable infrastructure.

How do I get from Lisbon airport to the city?

The red metro line starts at the airport and reaches the centre in about 20 minutes; you need a reusable Navegante card (€0.50) and a single Carris/Metro ticket is €1.90. A taxi is €10–15 to the centre according to the airport.
