Armação de Pêra is a seaside town in Silves municipality with a long town beach. The beach holds a Blue Flag for 2026 [1]. Zoomarine says the town is about 8 km from the park [4].

What we found (research)

  • Blue Flag 2026, together with Praia Grande Poente, the other Silves beach on the list [1]. The 2026 bathing season, when lifeguards are on duty, is 1 June to 30 September, shorter than Albufeira’s next door [2].
  • The town has a historic fort with a chapel inside [3].
