Jardim do Passeio Alegre is a romantic-style garden of about 4 ha on the riverfront in Foz, lined by an avenue of Canary palms. The city lists a café, mini golf and toilets; the public toilets themselves date from 1910 and are tiled in Art Nouveau style. Historic tram line 1 ends here, so it works as the turnaround point of a tram ride with children. The garden is free and listed as open 24 hours.
More for families: Porto with kids.
