Mercado do Levante (Saturday market)

Every Saturday from 7:00 to 14:00, local growers sell vegetables, fruit, poultry, flowers, honey and regional sweets at the Mercado do Levante on Largo do Rossio de São João Batista (Santo Amaro), according to the town hall’s markets page. On Wednesday evenings the same spot hosts Viv’o Mercado, an organic and crafts market with food stalls.
