- Published 2026 shuttle season: 1 August–30 September, 09:00–20:00. The tourism portal also listed Easter school-holiday operation at 09:00–18:00; confirm the dates for any future year. During shuttle operation the road between Caldeira Velha and Casa da Água is restricted to private visitor cars, with exceptions for residents, taxis and licensed tour operators. - The shuttle uses two hop-on, hop-off circular lines. Check the current fare with the operator: the regional tourism portal and RTP Açores gave conflicting 2026 visitor prices, and an up-to-date fare could not be confirmed on 14 October.
