The notes
Cerro da Vila is the one sight in Vilamoura that isn’t a marina, a golf course or a beach: the remains of a Roman villa, occupied from the 1st century BC to the 11th century AD, with a small museum that opened in 2000 and was renovated in 2021 [3]. It’s five minutes’ walk from the marina [1].
What we found (research)
- Tickets: free for children up to 13, €4 for ages 14–64, €2 for students and over-65s [1].
- The operator doesn’t publish opening hours. The council’s page gives 09:30–12:30 and 14:00–18:00 with a €3 ticket [2]. That page is undated and the price doesn’t match the operator’s, so treat its hours as a guide only.
